Join friends and fellow alumni for the return of our very popular Speed Networking at Sugar Creek Brewing Company – the Old site of Old Mecklenburg Brewery (OMB).
Two nuclear engineers emulate Trappist beer brewing method with a "break the rules" philosophy in OMB’s former home on Southside Drive. Sugar Creek Brewing Company is Charlotte's first Belgian-inspired craft brewery dedicated to the craftsmanship of fresh, high-quality beer in a style that secures them a spot on almost every beer connoisseurs’ top 10 ‘best beers’ list.
Join us on November 16th for a tour and a chance to learn more about this phenomenon, in an event co-sponsored by the Harvard Business School Club of Charlotte. Following the tour, we will have appetizers and liquid refreshments available while we socialize with our friends and fellow alumni. The other highlight of the evening, a round of speed networking, will follow the social time.
Not sure what to make of a "Speed Networking" event? Think of it as a chance to try out your elevator speech on a dozen or so of your (soon to be) friends and peers. If you don't have an elevator speech, write one and try it out on us. Hint: shorter is better!
