President –Andy Cohen Andy Cohen has spent over 25 years in Fast Moving Consumer Goods Industries with the majority in the confectionery manufacturing business. He has held positions as Process Engineer, Plant Manager, President, CEO and Chairman of various companies on multiple continents. Andy was born in South Africa where he received his B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering. He complet ed his MBA at Wharton in 1986. In 1988, following an extensive site search, he relocated the family candy business from New Jersey to North Carolina.  He sold this business in 2005 and now spends his time consulting in the fields of management, strategy, operations, sales and marketing for companies all round the world when he is not working on Wharton Alumni Affairs. 

Andy and his wife, Tammy (WG 89), will have three children at Wharton in the fall of 2008. They also have an older son with Macquarie Bank in NY and their youngest, a daughter, who is at CCDS.

 Past President – Joe Kenny Mr. Kenny (MBA '94) co-founded the Wharton Club of Charlotte in 1996shortly after returning to Charlotte following the receipt of hisWharton degree.  He has strong family ties to Philadelphia, and has beenactive in alumni and recruitment activities at Wharton for over 10years. Mr. Kenny has spent his entire career in the investment bankingindustry, beginning with a stint at Lehman Brothers in New York.  Sincereceiving his MBA in 1994, he has concentrated exclusively on mergers &acquisitions for middle market companies with a particular emphasis onthe private equity industry.  He is currently a Managing Director withBrookwood Associates. Mr. Kenny earned his undergraduate degree from the University of NorthCarolina where he was a Morehead Scholar and currently serves on theMorehead-Cain Foundation Regional Selection Committee. A nativeCharlottean, Mr. Kenny is married with three children and is activelyinvolved at Christ Episcopal Church and  Charlotte Latin School where heis an alumnus and parent. He serves on the board of directors of Legal  Services of the Southern Piedmont."

Treasurer –Andy Bach Andy Bach is a Partner of Tatum LLC. He has over 25 years experience in finance, operations, and strategic planning in a wide variety of industries. Prior to joining Tatum, Mr. Bach held positions of CFO, COO, and President and CEO in various manufacturing companies ranging in size from $5 to $265 million annual revenues with TBG, a privately owned conglomerate.  Prior to these operating responsibilities Mr. Bach worked on corporate acquisitions and divestments for TBG and at W.R. Grace in New York.  He began his career in commercial banking with Philadelphia National Bank.  Mr. Bach holds a BA degree in Economics from Duke University and an MBA from The Wharton School.

Tim Martin is a Private Client Advisor with U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management.  He has over 30 years experience in a variety of wealth management, corporate finance and investment banking with Bank of America and its affiliates.  Mr. Martin holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Georgia State University.

VP New Member Outreach – Satheesh Pillai Satheesh lived in India, the U.K. and France before finally settling in Charlotte in the summer of 2007, post-MBA.  He is married with two delightful daughters (aged 3 years and 1 year).   Trained as an engineer, his career started in the Consumer Goods industry with Gillette.   He subsequently conducted industrial research at a leading UK think-tank, and management consulting with the erstwhile Gemini Consulting.  Prior to his MBA, he was a founding Director of a consulting firm specializing in strategic change management for financial services firms, and he currently works in the banking sector. Between work and family he doesn’t get as much time to play golf, hike or travel as he used to!
