Jacqueline Bearman is the Director of Finance and Operations at the KIPP Academy of Charlotte, an opportunity she pursued via Wharton’s partnership with the MBA Nonprofit Connection.  KIPP is the largest network of charter schools in the United States and was founded by a University of Pennsylvania alumnus.  Jacqueline’s focus is implementing process improvement and cost savings initiatives utilizing detailed financial reporting and benchmarking.  She is skilled in identifying cost drivers and aligning operations with management’s strategic direction.  Industry experience includes manufacturing and distribution, financial services, retail, and education.  She enjoys working within a team environment with a hands-on approach.    Jacqueline has an MBA from The Wharton School, and a degree in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University, and has just completed requirements to become a CPA.   She has been an active volunteer at the American Red Cross and serves as an alumni interviewer for Wharton MBA candidates. She has recently started volunteering for the Wharton Charlotte Club An avid traveler and hiker, Jacqueline’s favorite trip was summiting Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania with 15 of her fellow Wharton classmates.
