About Our Speaker:
Scott A. Tozier, Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, Albemarle Corporation
Scott A. Tozier is executive vice president and chief financial officer. In this role, he is responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of the company’s operations. He sets internal controls within the organization to protect the financial interest of stakeholders, provides leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning, accounting and budgeting efforts of the company and addresses strategic management decisions from a financial standpoint. Customer service, purchasing and logistics functional groups report to him.
Mr. Tozier has over 20 years of diversified international financial management experience. Following four years of assurance services with the international firm Ernst & Young, LLP, Mr. Tozier joined Honeywell International, Inc., where his 16-year career spanned senior financial positions in the United States, Australia and Europe. His increasingly progressive roles included management of financial planning, analysis and reporting, global credit and treasury services and chief financial officer of Honeywell’s Transportation Systems, Turbo Technologies EMEA, Building Solutions EMEA and Process Solutions Asia Pacific divisions. Prior to joining Albemarle Corporation, Mr. Tozier served as vice president of finance, transformation and operations of Honeywell International, Inc. He led a team of over 300 employees worldwide and was responsible for the company’s global financial shared services and best practices management. Most recently, Mr. Tozier served as senior vice president and chief financial officer for Albemarle before assuming his current role.
Mr. Tozier is a certified public accountant. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1988. Following his tenure with Ernst & Young, Mr. Tozier studied corporate strategy and finance in the University of Michigan’s M.B.A. program and graduated with honors in 1994.
