Fun for the whole family! Food, swimming, table tennis, music, and Wharton/Penn themed door prizes!
Our summer of 2017 Wharton Club of Charlotte Annual BBQ will be held on the afternoon of Sunday, August 27th. We will be hosted at the South Charlotte home of Tammy and Andy Cohen, so please join your fellow alumni for an afternoon of fun, friends and food provided by Jim 'N Nick's Bar-B-Que.
We will be treated to slow-smoked chicken, hand-carved bbq beef brisket, and Jim 'N Nick's cheese biscuits and scratch-made sides. We will again have quarter-pound all-beef hot dogs for children.
New for 2017: Beer will be served!
Special thanks to Micah Niebauer, current Wharton Exec MBA student and CEO of Southern Pines Brewing for making the trip to Charlotte from the Pinehurst area so that we can enjoy their beer at this year’s summer BBQ. We’ll be serving 2-3 of Southern Pines’ flagship brews at this year’s event. Rumor has it that one or two Club officers completed some successful "mystery shopping” to validate quality before serving at this Wharton Club of Charlotte event. Yum!
