Join friends and fellow alumni for speed networking and a taste of Olde Mecklenburg Brewery!
If you're not sure if craft brewing has arrived in Charlotte for real, have a look at this recent article in Fortune Magazine. Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, which scarcely had room for speed networking for a dozen of us at their first location a few years ago, has moved, expanded and is now the largest craft brewing company in the Charlotte metro area, and ranked as the 6th largest in NC in 2014.
Join us on September 15th for a tour and an update on this phenomenon, in an event co-sponsored by the Harvard Business School Club of Charlotte. Following the tour, we will have appetizers and liquid refreshments available while we socialize with our friends and fellow alumni. The other highlight of the evening, a round of speed networking, will follow the social time.
Not sure what to make of a "Speed Networking" event? Think of it as a chance to try out your elevator speech on a dozen or so of your (soon to be) friends and peers. If you don't have an elevator speech, write one and try it out on us. Hint: shorter is better!
Bring your curiousity, your thirst, your appetite, and a pocketful of business cards and join us at Olde Mecklenburg Brewery on September 15th! Tickets are available at the link below.
